Quick start guide

The Artist 12 pro, comes with its stand, all accessories made with high-quality material that very impressed me. After assembling with the stand. The angle of the stand is comfortable to work with. making it very suitable to work, stable, don't slip on tables. Because the back of the tablet has the non-slip rubber pads.
BATTERY-FREE PEN

The pen looks good and It's a battery-free pen and has 60-degree tilt support. That means you just connect the drawing tablet to your PC or laptop and you're ready to use it. There are a large rubber grip and two side buttons. After using it for a week, It also does not collect dust and can easily be cleaned off. This's so cool. The pen has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. That can be felt immediately when the pen touched the surface.
ASSEMBLING FOR USE

The tablet is a comfortable size on my desk. It also comes with an anti-glare optical film on display, a red wheel to quickly zoom in and out, and 8 programmable shortcut buttons.
The wide 11.6-Inch fully-laminated IPS Display with a 178-degree viewing angle and 1920 x 1080 high resolution has an impressive color gamut of 72 percent of Adobe NTSC. It helps you to create phenomenal artwork.
The anti-glare optical film on display ensures you experience minimum reflection while working on the dynamic screen.
Brightness was measured at 190nits and the color looks so good. It's fit for me.
EXPERIENCE

The drawing experience on the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro was really great. is so smooth while I drawing. About parallax, I never found them can annoy me (Maybe a bit, but hardly feel). Because the display is laminated and there's almost no gap between the glass and the actual display. There's no jitter when I drawing. The pen is very sensitive and able to maintain consistent pressure. The temperature on the tablet stayed quite consistently cool despite drawing on it for hours.

INSTALLATION DRIVER & SETTING

Installation and set-up were easy for me. It supports all drawing software Photoshop, Clip Studio, Sai, etc. (I used Adobe Photoshop). If you have any questions about the software compatibility, you can contact the XP-Pen customer support.
PROS
I feel great by using XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro. Pen stylus with 8,192 levels of sensitive pressure, making the smooth, whether in drawing lines or coloring.
The screen responsive was good. The screen has a clear and beautiful display.
A matte screen protector gives feeling good to draw.
You can adjust the color tones on the screen. The device was overall strong and complete. I'm in love with it! :-)
So, The coin always has two sides. When there are Pros, there are Cons as well.
CONS
XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro is more suitable for beginners.
The 11.6-inch screen display is a bit small for me. Compared to the none-display tablet that I currently use (I use Wacom Intuos Art medium size).
It's a little difficult when you draw on a large drawing area and then switch to draw on a smaller area. If you are in digital art for years or like to draw on the big screen area. It may not be suitable for you. :-p

CONCLUSION
If you are on a budget, you are new to digital art. I would recommend XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro for you. It's an entry-level screen drawing tablet.
The amazing features from XP-Pen are great for creating art, There are so many great things about this drawing tablet like portable and compact design, display screen drawing, 8,192 level-sensitive pen pressure, and tilt support.
All this you can get for only $ 249.99!
FINALLY...
I tried it for about a week and found that it works very well (supports both Windows and macOS systems).
You just need to assemble it, install the driver, and it's ready to use!
The experience that I have received. Allowing me to enjoy drawing directly on the screen more and more. No wonder now, the XP-Pen has made me fall in love!
